David Henderson is Co-Artistic Director of Method Machine with MJ Savastano. Together they have produced, performed and created over 20 productions including Angels in America, Spoon River Rochester, ShakesBLOOD and The Lipstick Massacre. 

Henderson's additional directing includes shows at Geva Theatre Center, JCC Center Stage of Rochester, Blackfriars and Screen Plays. As a theater manager with Jujamcyn Theaters on Broadway he worked primarily at the historic St James Theater (The Producers), The August Wilson Theater (Jersey Boys) and The Eugene O’Neill (Sweeney Todd). David also served as the Assistant Director for the West End production of Wit after two years as a stage manager with the show. David graduated from Nazareth College with a BA in Theatre and Goddard College with an MFA in Screenwriting and Playwriting. He is very proud to have been a founding Board Member of the Fringe Festival in Rochester.

As an actor, teaching artist, writer, and director based in the New York area, MJ has performed in numerous productions, films, commercials, webisodes, workshops, and theatre-based training sessions across the country. MJ is currently the co-Artistic Director of Rochester theatre company METHOD MACHINE, hailed for its touring production of Edge by Paul Alexander and both parts of Tony Kushner's Angels in America (in conjunction with Geva Theatre Center). MJ has been a  long-time proponent of inclusive casting .
